disagree that collectivists are all the same since fascism is inherently a collectivist ideology. the reason why socialism and anarchism tend to converge as ideologies is because they are deeply historically tied. they both originated in 19th century worker’s movements as a response to capitalism and industrial exploitation and they both originated from proudhon’s seminal work (“property is theft”) and enlightenment ideals. both movements originated from literally the same thinkers and activists and later diverged to become two separate ideologies, but obviously there is a lot of overlap between them. so it makes total sense that some groups would identify with parts of both ideologies.
