keep in mind that I am not pro oil-and-gas - but I think the left is so fucking complacent, smug, and self-satisfied when it comes to eliminating petroleum usage and the impact that will have on those industries. I am aware that it has to happen (because, you know, I like this planet) - but it would benefit everyone if we were more sympathetic to the human cost and looked at solutions to that side of the problem as well.
