2024 has not started well for #Boeing; now a nose wheel has fallen off a 757 waiting to take-off from Atlanta's airport.
Certainly, one might suspect that such problems are not unusual, but for Boeing, with scrutiny heightened by its problems across the 737 fleet, any further mechanical issues are going to just feed the crisis.
As has been pointed out in my timeline, this looks like the inevitable result of financial management taking precedence over the mechanics of construction & maintenance
