There's a ongoing insurrection to restrict political legitimacy to wealth. (This is in large part to disguise the greatest failure in human history, aka the refusal to go off fossil carbon and accept major social change along with the economic back in 1980.)
If we want democracy, we can't permit great wealth.
Time to remember that money is a collectively created public good, a product of society, and insist it does indeed serve the public good.
