My first reaction is to call these faked, as it's most easily done. Plus it was in Florida.
I do not believe we are in the demonic giants walking around phase, but it makes a great story. That said... who knows what those freaks could make in a lab and what old DNA they've thawed out from the arctic so far. I'm not one for history repeating itself.
