Interesting new LinkedIn identity verification option, using Persona service. OCR'd my details from my UK passport page, checked the passport chip via my iPhone NFC reader, then checked front/left/right selfies (don't think they matched this against profile pic though) 🤔 LinkedIn also has processes to verify workplace and educational qualifications (using e-mail for current work/university, and Microsoft programmes for older employer/qualification)
