Don’t pretend that the Democratic Party didn’t have a choice but to support an octogenarian for president. It’s not that anyone THINKS he’s old. He IS old. Doesn’t make him a bad guy but it doesn’t make him a great candidate, either. It shouldn’t be a surprise that this is an issue.

Am I still going to vote for him? Of course. What choice do I have? But young people are like, “Yeah, I don’t know about that.”

And don’t pretend that they wouldn’t know he was old if I didn’t say anything.
