What are my options if I want to replace my WiFi AP? I want one that needs no external support to operate. Configuration through built-in UI (browser or CLI), no "controller". Must run without Internet, of course.
Currently I have some sort of Cisco flying saucer that is about 12 years old. There is nothing wrong with it, except that I'm concerned about its security. The last time I updated the firmware was at least 8 years ago.
