Perhaps that's the real difference between Starmer and Corbyn.
Corbyn was a deeply moral man, easily backfooted, he needed a war leader. His own people to defend him or lose. His tenure was asking faithless people for an act of faith. We weren't ready.
Starmer is a deeply ruthless man who will require a nation to be his moral conscience and develop his moral conscience. In fact leave him no room to pursue the lack of moral conviction he currently enjoys unchallenged. Or be rid of him.
