Yesterday, I had one of those paradigm-shifting moments, the kind where I felt like I'd glimpsed the future. It started with a scan of my twitter feed, where I came across a video of Chrstine Lagarde telling me Climate change is the cause of inflation. Then, I stumbled upon a discourse about Nassim Taleb’s crying rant that Bitcoin is just a cult and how central banks are actually the good guys because we have control of them. Who is ‘We’ Mr Taleb?
My eureka moment came when I remembered that Bitcoin is going to expose these ‘leaders’ as complete fraud, and optimistically, I think we’re almost there.
I believe that Bitcoin is on a journey to redefine the very concept of money. And when it does, it's going to make these clowns irrelevant. The problem is that our leaders, at least the vast majority, cling to the old structures, because their careers would crumble without them. I’ll grant that Taleb’s rant about bitcoin isn’t completely retarded like say Christine’s, because it is objectively true that none of us look at Bitcoin like it’s mere currency.
Yes, it's a radical shift in how we operate. It’s incredibly freeing - the ability to simply save your money instead of moonlighting as a part time hedge fund manager. But it's not just our financial lives that need an overhaul.
The world is constantly tossing us 'black pills,' and I, for one, am ready for a beacon of hope. I've grown weary of the self-serving lizards in power and the realization that as long as they have unfettered access to the money printer, meaningful change seems unlikely.
That’s why I’m excited about a bright orange future that strips away the corrupted and poisonous institutions running our society today. It’s more than just hope, though. I predict that the public's patience with narratives like 'climate change causing inflation' is wearing thin. People are discontent and craving something new.
