I have a very brief logic glitch when it comes to wild animals, knowing perfectly well that otters, coyotes, bears and such are wild animals with teeth and claws.
However, my inner 6 yr old surfaces "But they're so cute and cuddly!"
The fastest check is reminding myself of their personal integrity, they most likely don't want to be hugged.
I think I hear echoes of my father's voice there.
