When you say or ask for something regarding open source, add "for me" to the end of the sentence. If that makes it sound rude, then consider rephrasing.

Some examples to show some good and bad phrases I hear regularly:

- "I want this ... for me"
- "It's been a year; how is this not done yet ... for me"
- "I think this is important ... for me"
- "I think that's a good idea ... for me"
- "That should be easy to do ... for me"
