hey #fountainpen peeps, I'm curious if anyone else has tried this: I filled a sample vial with maybe 2ml of an ink and then added a few drops (ok, it might have been more) of water and used it in a pen?

I found that the ink stopped "sticking" to the end of the "tank", precluding the need for bearings to shake it loose. It also made checking the level reliable. The color was unaffected (to my eye).

I imagine that it's a twist on the "dish soap" trick, but just wondering if others have seen it.
