If you get 20 & 30 something’s saving in bitcoin the average age of homebuyers will come down over the next 5-10 years. Then they can lease houses to Gen-X’ers instead of the other way around. And get Gen-X’ers saving in bitcoin, so they don’t have to buy up a shitload of houses for a shot at retirement. Then, they also may not have to lease houses from Gen-Z.

Housing markets won’t necessarily crash, but housing specific inflation will slow in relation to other sectors of price increase because investors can stop house-grabbing for wealth preservation. Only those wanting to do a landlording business will go that route. Allowing home ownership to come within reach for many that are currently feeling excluded.

There are many angles to this that will work in concert to shift the market over the next decade. It’s starting very slowly in certain areas. How do I know? Because I’m never first at anything, and I cannot be the only one making this shift within my portfolio.
