This post is a little misleading. For singlesig + passphrase you do not need to secure 3 total items and if 1 is lost, lose access to your #bitcoin.
The additional need to secure your keys + seed is a complexity added if you choose to go multisig.
For singlesig + passphrase you only need your seed + passphrase OR key.
I do hope people are creating, wiping, restoring and then SENDING bitcoin FROM their multisig setup. You better make sure you can sign before storing confidently for the long term.
