I am liking that I have running water to wash our breakfast dishes.
I stand here and watch the local wildlife. A good sized buck with impressive antlers was eating the windfall apples from the neighbor's tree.
Our backyard was full of quail picking through the soil, I stuck in a couple of uneven spots, to level them out, and keep us from tripping. I used soil from pots of annuals that had gone to seed. It appears the quail appreciate the seeds. I hope a few seeds manage to survive the quail to give us volunteer summer flowers.
