Sometimes I can be incredibly stupid for a long period of time. Since I got my GPU last year, I found it incredibly silly that it keeps its fans off until it goes up to 60C.
But thinking about this with more than 2 brain cells makes me realize that a card idling at 44-ish C is probably safer for it than 10 hours of constant operation is for its fans.
