There are two aspects of my painting process I really want to focus on this year:
1. I always feel like I have to push to a "finished" piece.
2. I only think I am as good as my last painting.
The first leads to a lot of overworked and ruined paintings, while the latter puts me in a foul mood because of the former. Sometimes these take away from just "playing", so here is one where I just play.
