Which was slightly less than ZX Spectrum resolution, but same color scheme (foreground vs. background).
But later MZ-800 had really one of the best graphics modes of all Z-80 based microcomputers... but only with 16 kB videoram extension. Which very few users ever had installed, at least not until later years. So almost no games were available for the 16 color mode... the default mode was kind of CGA-like.
