Leadership lesson from my fiat mining days at Salesforce.
I was already a Bitcoin maxi back then and one thing became clear.
Stepping in and interfering kills innovation and productivity.
Yet every other manager did exactly that. They thought their job was to make decisions for their team even though their team members were the real experts.
I did exactly the opposite. I became a big umbrella shielding my people from the noise and the fiat bullshit flying at them.
They thrived and I ended up being the most successful manager across Europe while being the youngest leader in their org.
They asked me for my secret.
I told them I just did the opposite of all the other leaders.
When they stepped in I stepped out.
When they micromanaged I pulled my umbrella.
When they got mad I stayed human.
One of the biggest lessons I learned in corporate life.
Same applies to Bitcoin.
Let the free market decide and we win.
