As the UK economy continues to stagnate (on the basis of stalled GDP growth) when we look at previous quarters, what we see is a much longer stagnation with such economic growth as might be discerned as within the margin of error for no growth....

For the anti-growth crowd this may in one sense be good(ish) news, but equally it suggests (compared to other developed economies) a country slowly slipping backwards.

Will our GDP/per capita ranking now slip from the mid-20s to the 30s?
