...Just this morning, Democratic members were saying that they felt that Hunter was impressive and that might be why the GOP did not want the public to see him. The problem is that, even with the limitations of the five minute questions, Hunter would be forced to revisit any conflicts or admissions. Washington lawyers tend to minimize risk and a public hearing is still an unknown risk.
