How do we find the music we love? When 120,000 tracks are being uploaded every day to digital streaming platforms, and Spotify gives us access to over 100 million tracks, our chances of encountering a piece of music becomes surprisingly low. Seems counterintuitive in this age of abundance. (This was an article I wrote for New York Jazz Workshop a few months ago.)
