Hard for me to feel patriotic today when there is so much I disagree with in this country. If I celebrated our independence I'd feel like I'm living a lie. Especially after covid when so many caved and gave up their independence because of the flu.
So instead I worked all day. Resealed my deck and spent the rest of the time playing with my first child (few months old).
