You know. In the grand scheme of things, it probably wouldn't make that much difference to use polyester thread to sew some things, vis a vis microplastics and the oilpocalypse. It would be much cheaper, often more durable than cotton, available in more colours... But it feels absolutely horrible to my fingers and I despise having to unpick anything sewn with it. So I guess I'll pay triple for nice cotton and wish it was cheaper. 😅
