This is why makers of commercial projects inevitably treat users with contempt. Either you are open source developing for yourself and the users take it or leave it (leads to better software imo but maybe not great "UX") or you bend over backwards for these selfish swine and your reward is you get to extract some kind of value from them like farm animals.
