In speaking to many of my friends these days they seem dedicated to framing themselves as helpless. I know we all need to vent sometimes, but there needs to be a point at which you decide to take action, particularly when the thing you're framing as helplessness is actually far from it. Challenging? Definitely. Daunting? Perhaps. But it's not helplessness.
