Friends, if you happen to have whole cardamom in your house, stick a pod in with your coffee! Just chuck it in the coffee grounds when you pour over the water. It's such a nice way to make your morning a little bit special.
(Cardomom is very strong, so you might want to start small. I broke open one green pod and only put about half the seeds inside into my coffee cone. I think it would have been too strong if I'd used the whole pod. I like it with just a hint of fragrance, myself)
