Why? The minimum order is 3 boards and it's $49.95 for those 3 boards. Then it's $5 shipping plus sales tax and we're at $60.
If the design was perfect, I'd have paid $20/board.
If there was a problem with the design, and I got it right on the second try, I'd have paid $120 ($40/board).
Buying in bulk can get the price down to about $11.50/board. Ordering from China (larger quantities and waiting a month) can get it lower, but doesn't make sense for prototyping.
