Our family brunch was perfect.
The food was good and there was plenty.
We enjoy each other's company so the mood was joyful.
Summer loved every minute.
I'm sure people will be surprised that I opted out of baking and instead motored to town, at the crack of dawn, to buy everyone's favorite donuts from the bakery. They were a happy surprise.
We had such a good I promised to do it again in two weeks. I said I would bake homemade cinnamon bread to turn into French toast.
Something to look forward to.
After they went home Summer and I ran outside for some exercise in the sunny but cold wind afternoon.
Summer is a good girl.
