there's an old story, probably a sea story, about an admiral and a lieutenant. they were fighting some cossacks, and one day a corvette pulled into port with a dud refrigerator bomb stuck in the deck. the lieutenant laughed and asked how the enemy could hope to win with refrigerator bombs. but the admiral looked at the lieutenant and asked, how can we expect to win against people willing to turn refrigerators into bombs?
