ZULUS
Down On The Floor
1989 U.S. promo pressing
One of my favorite Boston bands of all time.
Such an underrated record; one that I find superior to their debut.
They were born out of the locally legendary Human Sexual Response (see “Jackie O’Nassis”), and this record (their second) was produced by none other than BOB MOULD.
When Zulus disbanded, Mould poached drummer Malcolm Travis for his #90s band Sugar.
“Never Again” is an amazing monster of a song.
