No, local(ish) state school, now demolished. Both my parents could cook, and Dad had memories of his mother's rice pudding and never felt the need to replicate it.

I did sometimes encounter rice pudding in other people's houses and had to be polite about it. Not too polite, though, in case I was offered more.
