Hi Tim! I heard that as well from some YouTubers. Especially as soon as you do it professionally and want to release a 20min video every week.
I think I'm going to write a longer blog post about my experience. I mean it can be real fun. But reaching a really appropriate level is a bit of work and also different hiking: me walking into the camera requires a spot, setting up the cam, going back, walking in, going back & picking it up. That's quite far away from what I usually do.
