I love this idea. It’s like automobile restomods for classic consumer electronics. I’ve had lots of ideas of what I’d like to do. For instance, I’d love to slot a M1 MacBook Air’s insides and a new display into an Apple PowerBook G3 “Pismo”, my favorite laptop of all time. Either that, or re-case an Air with a Pismo-like case.
