Imagine two people having a serious talk about whether having printed encyclopedias in every home would act as autonomous agents, and fix our cultural problems for us. It's equally laughable to talk about Trained MOLEs in every home doing it.
People used to believe the popularisation of encyclopedias would have that power. Wikipedia was, in part, founded on that belief. It hasn't happened and it won't.
Same with "AI", at least in its current form.
