I figured out why this Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry drink tastes weird.
Turns out it's cranberry/raspberry "energy drink" and contains artificial sweetener (which means it actually contains LESS energy). Hence, the odd aftertaste.
Oh, well, it was an experiment.
