This past #Weekend I managed to install the new ceiling fan for the kids.
I managed to NOT electrocute myself even once.
And only tripped the earth leakage thrice (still confounded by that, since that circuit was supposed to be dead from the DB).
Anyway,its up, even though the previous dumbass did me dirty by fixing the old fan with the screw for the "above ceiling" fitting - and the screw did NOT budge (had to saw it off).
Kinda a miracle the old thing was able to stay put,since it was basically hanging 50% on the er..wire..pipes(conduit? trunking?).
Good thing the fan never worked!
Anyway.
