They knew death was a possibility. Most had good intentions when they joined. My grandfather was in ww2 and retired as a Lt. Colonel from the pentagon. My father was in Vietnam. My husband was in the military, and we have a friend who was in for 33 years. None of these men do drugs or are alcoholics. Only one gets money for having a traumatic brain injury. And he works to help other gets from eating their guns. So, none that I know are frauds.
