Shhh. 🤫 Don't tell anyone, but I've been over to the other side.
Not Twitter, X, Instagram…. Pixelfed. No, I am not leaving Mastodon. I post a lot of photos, so I have been 👀 if Pixelfed offers any advantages.
Now here’s the thing. If I post the same photo with the same hashtags to both services, people who follow a hashtag that I use will see both photos, i.e. the same photo twice. That is annoying, although it explains why I sometimes see duplicates.
Does anyone have experience of this?
