The gnome 46 alpha is a complete and utter joke. They broke the alt tab switcher, completely. It just says panel if you do anything. Sure it's an alpha, but how the hell does this shit even get past quality control? These are the people who are trying to make at-spi better and yet they don't have simple tests that go hey, maybe the alt tab switcher is just a tiny bit screwed. You still can't even edit text properly in a GTK 4 widget, and it's been 3 or 4 years since GTK 4 first came out. This really isn't a good look, I get the impression that KDE care way more about this than gnome. They were probably the ones that got QT6 patched to actually do accessibility things on Wayland when it broke.
