I said this a few times last year but if Apple doesn't announce an AI integration for Xcode at WWDC then they're going to be two years behind VS Code, but it will feel like more than that. The best solution though would be for Apple to make Xcode more extensible, an extensions system that lets you build custom views with SwiftUI would be great but even letting people embed Copilot in a webview would be a huge step up.
