My best advice for people who are just getting started in the creative world is: when you look at something you've done and think it's done, just know it's not done. In fact, you probably aren't even close to being done.

The only reason the pros/masters get things actually done, so fast, and at such high quality, is because they've learned the craft of how to do their revisions/rewrites/versions quickly.
