Offer it as an option like Google or Facebook login.
All the account data other than login Auth itself would still end up separated. Pixelfed images still on pixelfed server etc.
If that wasn't what was wanted would have to extend Mastodon to allow arbitrary data storage.
Never really liked "login with Google" and things myself. Feels like giving Google power over all the other services. Might be less scary with a self hosted fedi server for login.
