In a fastly moving world, which is entering the digital informational era at accelerating speed, gold has absolutely no chance of keeping up with the velocity of real price discovery like Bitcoins has.
Reason?
Gold itself already became Fiat, because the majority of gold is traded on derivatives and certificates, which are mutiple amounts inflated against physical gold. Physical gold became impossible to verify its real global inventory. And there's no political economy anymore that wants to waste time and energy waging a war for gold as prey.
Yet every country is gonna lie about it's gold inventory by inflating the amount being traded within its juristiction. I don't see an end for this tendency, especially during inflation, BECAUSE too many people still think gold is a store of value (which it isn't)
This is why they come up with CBDC, because the elites in the old system know it, that it's probably their last chance to not loose track/control of the real economy at current speed.
