Generally everyone I’ve seen in the hospital this week use these Zebra handhold scanners, and some sort of thin device on a rolling stand with a monitor and keyboard to log all of the medications and stuff into some sort of database/communication program. If everyone has phones and smart watches and other stuff to give them the time of day these old legacy things tend to get ignored. The building I was in all week is probably older than the Gaza hospital, it was built in the 1930s and has been modernized over the decades, that Gaza one is probably no older than 30 years.
