Ideas for improving #XMPP contact discovery problem.
If apps can show members of private groups in addition to roster/your contacts in the list of people you can start a direct chat, that makes having to add contacts manually go away.
Or if roster/contact list can show these as a separate section at the bottom - more people you might know from other groups you joined or something. Then finding contacts becomes more distributed and organic.
