Depending on where you live, spending bitcoin is a taxable event and this could be an administrative headache, moreso if you do it frequently. Using kyc free corn could be the way around this, but you never know if the taxman is watching.
But a big thumbs up to those who use bitcoin as a MoE. I am in hodl mode.
