I’m Canadian so I’m not the best person to ask - though I will say that people have tried to use federal EMTALA law to target abortion bans in certain states - arguing that EMTALA should supercede the State law & doctors should be able to intervene when a pregnant woman’s life is at stake. And they lost. Which is horrifying.
