I hate that I have had to accept that LLMs will be a part of the tech landscape for the rest of my life, even as ecological destructive, error prone, hallucinating, and expensive to own and operate as they are and likely ever will be. Frustratingly, it's too damn convenient for business owners to have cheap "good sounding" gibberish vomiters and plagiarism machines for us to put this genie back in the bottle.

I guess the question becomes ... What the fuck do I do with the back half of my career having to work alongside spicy autocorrect both as a tool I have to support the usage of and in the hands of adversaries...
